~Sold~ Tall, dark and oh, so handsome this 2014 solid black 16.3H Hanoverian gelding is as sweet and easy-going as they come. By well-know stallion Freestyle (Florestan) x out of our dressage-bred mare Avaia (Alabaster/Ehrentusch/Amor).
Absolutely amateur-friendly, sane and sensible in a fancy package. This boy is a family favourite for his easy-going sweet nature. Always first to the gate to get in on the action, he’s a “people-pony” and is looking for his person.
Fenix’s sire Freestyle was noted as a producer of amateur-friendly dressage horses, and this easy-going boy is a joy to have around. He can live inside or out, has excellent hooves and can likely stay barefoot for most work. He’s a hardy, healthy horse that is an easy keeper, has good “social skills” and gets along well with other horses. A deep-chested 16.3, he doesn’t feel as big as he is but takes up a lot of leg and a 54″ girth.
Not at all “looky”, he’s extremely versatile and straightforward to ride. Loads easily, trailers well, hacks out alone or with company. With correct basics, he has been hacking over the past year while he finishes up growing, to develop his fitness and strength. He’s Hunter-paced, out to school off-property, and even went away for overnight camping for a few days last summer. Now back in professional training, he’s ready to move on and is ready to find his perfect partner. Fenix is a straightforward horse to ride, and suitable for an amateur owner to develop with support.
