Our 17H TB mare Avery’s Gold has delivered a healthy tall bay colt May 12 by the charming young stallion Copernicus WF.
Copernicus (Clinton I / Federalist / Evergreen) is a tall, flashy chestnut with a super character and beautiful type. Winner of the 2022 NAAST, his scores clearly show his quality and potential as a future sire of top Hanoverian jumpers. His sire Clinton I (Carolus I / Calypso II) was successful to 1.60m and was also a lovely mover, so Copernicus’ beautiful gaits are no surprise either. On the dam-line, we find iconic Hanoverian jumper stallion “For Pleasure“, through his son Federalist.
Avery is the first TB mare we have ever considered for our program; her tall leggy build and TB stamina should produce a modern, elegant and athletic prospect. Often overlooked, what won me over with this mare is her feet. A solid long-legged mare, she has absolutely perfect hooves with a good thick wall and nicely formed heels – she is such an exception to the TB norm here. Add to the package her lovely character, she took her time with this one and delivered a tall handsome colt at 360D already 44″ tall at birth.
This handsome colt has had a full healthy foal vet check complete & records are available, he’s perfect! We will present Avery for Hanoverian approval, but other registry options are also possible. This is a very tall foal, most likely mature 17H+
