It all starts with a great mare! Our imported Holsteiner broodmare Cocarina (Coriano/Carolus I/Calypso II) has it all, a strong performance record and top-class bloodlines. As a broodmare, she has an excellent start! Accepted into the Hanoverian Jumper Breeding program and awarded JBP** for her performance. Cocarina has proven her abilities in the jumper ring and as a broodmare. After producing her first foal (SIEC Carlos XXII, by Colbert) as a 4-yr old, she began her competitive career. Coco competed successfully in the 1.40m classes in Germany as a 6-year old, prior to her import to the US, and then Canada. Coco has lots of mileage in the US jumper ring, competing at 1.35m with her amateur owner for several seasons at top events on the West Coast. Cocarina is an elegant mare, at just a touch over 16H her athletic refined frame and features will also appeal to those looking for a top hunter prospect. Her sire Coriano is a noted sire of hunters, ranking #2 on the USEF Hunter sire rankings in 2012 and consistently in the top-ranks, still holding #10 spot in 2018. Coriano, by Corrado.

Successful in sport and in breeding, her next foal could be your future star! Cocarina has a lovely 2019 foal by Diamo Blue (Diarado/Chacco Blue). Daisy is being retained to develop as a riding horse as well as a future broodmare.
Cocarina had a lovely 2020 filly by Glasgow van het Merelsnest (SOLD in-utero) and we expect big things from Ruby and her new owner.
2022 – Cocarina had another stunning filly by Glasgow van het Merelsnest and this solid girl will be retained to develop. Geneva is a strong athletic filly with her mothers super temperament.
Her first foal S.I.E.C. Carlos XXII (Colbert GTI x Cocarina) is a proven athlete, competing internationally in the FEI jumper ring to 1.45m CSI*** This lovely ZVCH gelding demonstrates high rideability, and beautiful jumping style. Video link.
Cocarina’s pedigree is world-class. Her sire Coriano is a leading producer of international show-jumpers, #63 on the 2017 WBFSH Sire Rankings. Coriano has many top competitors in the 1.60 ring, and multiple (33) approved stallions. Coriano is noted for passing along his incredible temperament, he scored 10 at his inspection and competed successfully with a junior.
Cocarina brings one of the top Holsteiner dam-lines, stamm 18A. She is out of top producing mare Fiona VI (Carolus I/Calypso II/Ladykiller) who produced multiple competitors, including 2 approved stallions (Pasco, Conley) in addition to Coco’s full-sister, CSI4* 1.60m jumper St.Pr.
